6 years

The girl turned six last week.
SIX!

According to The Girl you are not another year older till you blow out the candles.
So before school we lit some faerie lights (tiny little candles in acorn hats).
I overheard her wishing for a pinata at her party (so sweet).

For the first time she had a real birthday party.
I figured seeing as I have gotten away with out doing a "real" party for her this was a big year.
We rented rooms as the YMCA and had a Scooby-Doo mystery party.
Shortly after the 12 kids arrived the birthday cupcakes went missing and a note from "the Birthday Phantom" was left.
The kids had to play a series of games to capture the phantom.

some of the favorite games...
Scooby-Scooby Phantom (duck duck goose)
Pin the dog tag on Scooby

Scooby pinata.

The "meddling kids" capture the Phantom.
Turns out the phantom was just sad because she never got a sixth birthday party.
The kids all agreed to share the cupcakes and rest of the party with her. (so sweet)

Happy Birthday baby girl.
