The movers showed up promptly at 0830 on Wed August 20th.
My father-in-law and sister-in-law showed up shortly after to redirect Elora and I from freaking out about the enormity of it all. (God bless their beautiful hearts)
By 1330 our stuff was skillfully packed into a truck and they told us we would see all our worldly belongings on Friday morning.
John took us out for a Mexican lunch, we returned to our house one more time to wrangle the cats into their travel box and we were off to Ottawa. I am not a girl who has allot of regrets in life but I will go to my grave always sorry I did not capture on video Samantha trying to get Hobbit out from behind the toilet. Sam calmly explained to me that you just have to make animals feel secure and loved.
No amount of loving was getting that cat out.
Their was much hissing and fur flying. I am pretty sure I saw a tear in Sam's eye and not a little fear as Hobbit repetitively hissed/bit/scratched at her while rejecting her calm offering of love. The cats did surprising well on the six hour drive.
We camped out for a couple nights. Surprising comfy and fun.

Oh my goodness. Why is Elora so cute?! The whole set up in the closet was so adorable that I had to show my roomates. They agree. She is the most adorable person in the world. I miss you all and since I am less than 3 hours away while everyone else is like 6-7, I think that I should hop a bus and come and visit sometime soon?
