We were watching Nim's Island and Jodi Foster does this crazy Minka dance and The Boy pipes up with "look, its you Mom". I posted the link on facebook and while Chris was watching it again he pointed out he thought it was me.
Made the mistake (loved having to explain how the asinine "boob song" was inappropriate and objectifying to an eight year old) of letting The Girl watch some red carpet and the opening bit of the Oscars this past weekend and she commented on how Queen Latifa reminded her of me..."you know, but her skin is a bit darker".
My kids are kind of awesome.
