ladylike?

 The Girl now likes to pick out her own outfits in the morning.

This morning...

The Girl: do you like my outfit?

Me:   oh yes. Now remember you are wearing a skirt with tights so your gonna have to be somewhat ladylike.

The Girl: orrrr  I could just change.

So she did.
No sense in being "ladylike" unless you absolutely have to.
