Yesterday morning the first thing the girl says to me is "Its groundhogs day. All the groundhogs must be so happy, they are gonna eat cake".
I mean if you think about it really what else are groundhogs going to do on groundhogs day?
I would love to live in her head for just an hour. I bet she actually visualizes little happy groundhog families sitting around eating groundhog cake, singing little groundhog songs and perhaps smashing a little groundhog pinata.
I love it.
The excitement of a snow day yesterday was too big (and loud) to be contained indoors so I put her to work clearly the driveway.
Again to live in the mindset of a six year old where these tiresome chores are fun and adventurous. We all could do with a bit of that.
