In our front garden currently are these poor dead sunflowers. They were a beautiful sunflower jungle in the summer and I took down most of them in the fall. We left a few for some spooky Halloween decorating...then I just got lazy. But then beautiful little chickadees kept visiting the flowers for the seeds.. I love those little birds, so our front garden my look unkempt but the birds and I are happy.
