peace

The computer and I have not been getting along for the past month, but we are reconciling our differences and posting will begin to get more consistent again. Just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who reads my little narcissistic posts and pictures. I appreciate that you all can be a part of our lives this way and find an odd comfort in knowing you are all out there caring enough to check in on us. You are all loved.

For the remembrance day assembly The Girl's class wrote this poem and recited it...

What Peace Feels Like
By Grade One and Two

Peace looks like…
Squirrels collecting seeds…a cat chasing
yarn

Peace smells like…
Flowers…yummy sushi…and like pizza that
just came out of the oven.

Peace tastes like…
Smartie ice cream…chocolate ice
cream…melting, sweet yummy ice cream

Peace sounds like…
My cat purring…children singing…music
playing

Peace feels like…
Hugs and kisses…like flying in the sky…
when a friend hugs you when you are
crying

The girl's contribution was
"my cat purring"
I LOVE school assemblies, I am such a Mom geek :)

i love them too Can't wait till I can go to Molly's. But don't want her to grow up too fast either. I especially love the singing at assemlies. there is nothing like the voices of children singing. Wait till xmas assembly. Bring your kleenex!
