Well, here we are a week later.
This time last week they were prepping the IVs to stick in me.
This week The Boy is weighing in above his birth weight.
FYI: they expect a baby to surpass their birth weight by 3 weeks.
Have I mentioned I love midwives?
Seriously, these ladies rock.
They journey with you for nine months let you plan and direct your own care.
Sit with you in the hospital for 24 hours and birth your baby with your comfort in mine as opposed to the doctors convenience i.e no nasty stirrups and *gulp* episiotomies.
And they come to your house for the first week you are home to check out you and babe.
As if all that was not enough they use these adorable slings to weigh the little ones.
