Uncle Ron travels over eight hours to visit and where in Ottawa do I take him?
Sadly the aviation museum was closed.
That leaves the Museum of Nature.
Uncle Ron is the man who makes little wooden ramps into his window wells in the fall so the toads can have a cozy spot for the winter. He is the man who attempted to breed praying mantises in his basement window.
While a vicious attack bee was attempting to sting me in his driveway and I was doing the infamous "bee dance" (Uncle Pooky reenacts it very well) Uncle Ron stood by yelling "don''t hurt it!"
The man loves nature.
Poor Ron wanted to read each and every plaque and explore every nook and cranny...unfortunately he came with my Mom, myself, Aunt Pat and the girl (we like pretty thing and buttons to push)
We still had a good time.
