Its a dilemma, I consider myself a bit of an anti-conformist and yet I just love a campy group event. Theme dances (hello 80s) flash mobs and audience participation (even Disney on Ice much to The Girl's embarrassment, she tells me to "calm down") . So of course I have always wished to participate in the ultimate audience participation experience, Rocky Horror.
So last Saturday a small group of us got dressed up packed our props in our bags and went off to "the late night double feature picture show". None of us had been before so we got ratted out as "virgins" and paraded in front of the theater where we were labeled with "v"s and spanked by the shadow cast. The shadow cast was amazing. Dr Frank-N-Furter and Magenta were stars.

Toast was flung, toilet paper tossed, cards chucked, gloves snapped, water guns sprayed, and there was much yelling and dancing. A memorable first time.
*side note* I would not recommend doing this on daylight savings. I got home around 2am just in time spring all our clocks forward an hour and wash off my transvestite makeup which left me with about four hours till church...tisk tisk pastors wife ;)
