Back in the day when people bought magazines and read real books for inspiration I would have many books with dog eared pages and scrap books filled with ripped out pages of things I liked or creative inspirations I wanted to make.
Now a days there is Pintrest. A virtual pin board. Think of a cork-board where you would tack up all those ripped out magazine pages. Now think of a cork-board for home decor one for kids crafts, one for health and beauty....thats allot of cork boards.
Now when I am "surfing the web" I see something I like I "pin it" add it to my account organized into different boards. Later when I am ready to try something I click on the "pin" on my board and it takes me right back to the website with the original inspiration, instructions or tutorial.
I have made wands for the kids in my life this Christmas, various hair accessories , Barbie furniture, nail polish designs, photography inspiration, delicious food treats...
It is simply wonderful, creative and inspiring.
