This time last year we were living in Elmira. I was coming up on my seventh year working for Elmira Community Living. We were even looking at buying a house in Elmira. Chris was at something of a crossroads with his campus ministry work at U of W and had been in discussions with our church about possible opportunities to serve. I had just finished a fun morning of dragon boating and Chris and I were relaxing in our living room when he went upstairs to take a phone call. When he came back down he said "so, guess who is going to be a Meeting House lead pastor?" We were not sure if we would land in Hamilton, Burlington or Ottawa at that point. I was thinking "anywhere but Ottawa, thats just to far". It was decided Burlington was to be our new home, we bought our first house, I left my job and we were moved by the end of October. A year later the meeting house has been unable to fill the position of Ottawa lead pastor. Chris came home one day and asked me what I thought of Ottawa. I was filled with this unique sense of peace and I said well lets start praying. A couple weeks ago we were asked to come meet with the meeting house management team in Oakville. We had the meeting at 4:00 and they had called by 6:30 offering us the position. The Meeting House sent us to Ottawa to site see for a couple days.
We accepted the position. Chris officially becomes the lead pastor for a brand new Meeting House site in our nations capital on July 1st.

The real estate agent comes tomorrow.
*gulp*

Well michele I just read and heard today about your move. It is so wonderful for you and Chris and Elora. I know it is kinda far but Ottawa seems like a wonderful place. We will definitly be visiting there for another Canada. We went a few years ago and it was awsome. Very artsy there too so you will like that. Lots of museums too. Congratulations to Chris.

PS. We missed you today at the shower for Katie. Do hope you will be able to come to the wedding though.
